Addiza’s specialised engineering division in Namibia provides advanced power system studies and network analysis that support safe, stable, and compliant energy generation and transmission. Using industry-leading software such as DIgSILENT PowerFactory, our engineers deliver precision modelling and performance validation across every stage of project development, from early feasibility to commissioning.
What We Do
Power System Studies & Grid Analysis
We carry out detailed power system studies, including short-circuit, load-flow, protection coordination, harmonic analysis, and grid compliance assessments for renewable and conventional power projects. These studies ensure every installation achieves optimal performance, stability, and safety while meeting utility and regulatory standards.
Substation Design Simulations
For substation design, we provide insulation coordination, earthing system design, and detailed lighting and lightning protection simulations. Each model is developed using real-world data and tested for reliability under various operating scenarios to guarantee long-term system resilience.
Software Tools & Methodologies
We use DIgSILENT PowerFactory alongside proven engineering methodologies to perform precise network studies. This integrated approach enables accurate modelling of complex systems, effective coordination between protection devices, and assurance that all parameters align with grid compliance and performance requirements.
